Parking can be a bit tricky here. If there is room on the street out front go for it, but if not I'm sure we can park across the street.

When: Sunday, November 15th at 3:00 pm (time change we'll now meet on Sundays and perhaps just keep it this way - thoughts?)

Ride: Departing at 4:00pm. If the crowd comes and the weather is right, I say we go on a nice long ride! Ideas?

Micheal, just reading the sunday n&o, the old reliable run is the 15th in moore sq. starting about 1pm then going thru the afternoon, as if parking isn`t a problem
for us, just something to toss out. i don`t mind my self i can park anywhere. just thinking it might be a bit tight and congested.

Too bad I have to be in work at Charlotte. The one weekend I gotta be out of town...

I just checked it out and according to their site, the race is held in Nash Square and it all stays west of the Capital. I'm sure this event will not help our situation with parking, but let's just see how it goes. There shouldn't be any streets blocked off near the TImes so we shouldn't have to worry about that.

Worst case we may have to break that rule that some people don't like to break and park on the sidewalk, but I think we should be okay since it is Nash Square and not coming through near the Times anywhere.

Hey Michael - did you & Bob get his cannibalized clutch cable working, or did you have to make it home clutchless? Hope it worked out ok. Steve

I got it home without a clutch. For now, the Vespa is sitting at home resting. I have a cable now and just need to find the time (busy week) to replace it. I've ordered a new tail light assembly too so next time around my brake light should be working okay. Thanks for sticking around....hope to see you next time on the Vespa!!!
